Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how QuantKing ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit https://quantking.ai or use our online learning and interview preparation platform (the "Service").

We are committed to handling personal information fairly and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, you should not use the Service.

2. Who we are

QuantKing is operated by Quant Labs Ltd. For enquiries, please contact hello@quantking.ai.

For UK data protection purposes, QuantKing is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.

3. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you use QuantKing, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

Name

Your name (or display name) as provided during sign-up or through your authentication provider.

Email address

The email address linked to your account, used for authentication, account notices, and transactional messages such as purchase confirmations.

Authentication information

Account identifiers and sign-in related data needed to create and maintain your login. Passwords are managed securely through Clerk, our authentication provider. QuantKing does not store your password in plain text on our own systems.

Payment and subscription information

Subscription status, plan details, billing-related customer identifiers, and payment outcome information. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are never stored by QuantKing.

Account preferences

Settings and preferences associated with your account, where available.

Usage analytics

Information about how you use the Service — for example pages visited, features used, course or question progress, submissions, and similar interaction data that helps us operate and improve QuantKing.

Device and browser information

Technical details such as browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, and related log data that help us keep the Service secure and reliable.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, security, and (where enabled) analytics. See the Cookies section below for more detail.

4. How we collect information

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you, when you create an account, sign in, update account details, subscribe to a plan, or contact us.
  • Automatically, when you use the Service, through logs, cookies, and product usage data.
  • From service providers, such as Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), and, if you choose Google Sign-In, Google (limited profile information needed to authenticate you).

5. Why we process your information

We process personal information only where we have a lawful basis under UK GDPR. In practice, that usually means the processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, necessary for our legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), or necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage accounts so you can access QuantKing.
  • Authenticate users and keep account access secure.
  • Provide the Service, including courses, the question bank, assessments, and related practice features.
  • Manage subscriptions, including checkout, renewals, cancellations, and access based on your plan.
  • Provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
  • Protect security and prevent fraud, including monitoring for abuse and protecting the integrity of the platform.
  • Improve the product, for example by understanding feature usage and fixing issues.
  • Meet legal obligations, such as maintaining records needed for tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

6. Third-party services used by QuantKing

We use carefully selected third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers process personal information on our behalf or as independent controllers of their own platforms, as applicable. They include:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management. Passwords and sign-in credentials are handled securely through Clerk.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are never stored by QuantKing.
  • Supabase — database and related application data storage used to run the Service.
  • Resend — transactional emails such as purchase confirmations and important account messages.
  • Google OAuth — optional Google Sign-In. You can create and use a QuantKing account without Google. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides limited authentication-related information so we can sign you in.
  • Vercel — website hosting and related infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics — used only if enabled on the Service, to help us understand aggregate website usage. If analytics cookies or tools are enabled, they may collect information such as pages visited and device/browser details.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the providers above as needed to run QuantKing, when required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of QuantKing and its users.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. QuantKing uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • Keeping you signed in and maintaining secure sessions
  • Remembering account-related preferences where applicable
  • Helping us detect abuse and keep the Service secure
  • Measuring site usage through analytics tools, but only when those tools are enabled

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you block certain cookies, some parts of the Service (especially sign-in) may not work properly.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. That typically includes the period while your account is active, and afterward as needed for subscription records, security, dispute handling, and legal or accounting obligations.

You may request deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@quantking.ai. You can also manage or delete your account from your Account page where that option is available. Some information may need to be retained for longer where the law requires it.

9. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. This includes using reputable service providers, access controls, and secure transmission where appropriate.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, please contact us promptly at hello@quantking.ai.

10. Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK data protection law, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal information:

  • Access — to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Rectification — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Erasure — to ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances
  • Restriction — to ask us to limit how we use your information in certain cases
  • Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Data portability — to receive certain information in a structured, commonly used format
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, to withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@quantking.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information. More information is available at ico.org.uk.

11. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection, for example by using providers that offer suitable safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, standard contractual clauses (as approved for UK use), or another lawful transfer mechanism.

12. Children's privacy

QuantKing is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@quantking.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
