What is the Maven Securities Numerical Test?

What is it

The Maven Securities Numerical Test style screen is a timed multiple choice assessment centred on numerical sequences and pattern spotting. You work through short prompts where the fastest reliable recognition wins, similar in spirit to other sell side numerical reasoning rounds.

QuantKing models this as thirty sequence questions in six minutes, all visible on one scrolling page so you can jump around instead of clicking “next” between stems.

How it works

Select one answer per question. Your net score follows a plus one minus one style tally on the practice page: correct answers add a point, incorrect answers subtract one, and unanswered items stay neutral at scoring time.

Submit when you are finished or let the timer expire, whichever comes first. Review shows every stem with the keyed solution highlighted so you can debrief quickly.

How to prepare

Drill common sequence families: arithmetic and geometric progressions, alternating rules, differences of differences, and prime style gaps, until recognition is automatic.

Run full timed blocks with minimal distractions so pacing and accuracy improve together. Use the scroll layout to skip tough items and circle back before you submit.
